Microsoft Volume Licensing

Downloading software from the Microsoft Volume Licensing Service Centre is the right choice for the environment and supports a more sustainable future.

Here's how to end your media subscription disk shipments now:

1.	Send your request via e-mail to Digital by Choice Processing at dcproces@microsoft.com.
2.	Specify your company name in the Subject line of the e-mail.
3.	Provide the enrolment/authorisation numbers for those agreements you would like to begin receiving digital downloads for. These are listed on your Agreement Summary or Licence Statement available through the Volume Licensing Service Centre.

Alternatively, you may contact your channel partner to opt out of media subscription disk shipments on your behalf. You will receive a confirmation for each enrolment after which all future media subscription kit shipments will end. This will not affect Software Assurance benefits.


			Reduce your carbon footprint. By selecting Digital by Choice, you help reduce the need to manufacture, ship, and ultimately dispose of disks.

			Get faster access to updates. With Digital by Choice, you'll get software updates faster than with kit shipments. You will be able to download software updates the moment they are posted to the Microsoft Volume Licensing Service Centre.

			Save time and effort. Ending the physical shipment of subscription disk kits can help you save time and administrative resources. Digital by Choice customers do not have to manage the receipt, cataloguing, distribution, archiving and disposal of disks.

	MSDN subscription customers who have purchased via an Open Licence Agreement or the above Volume Licence Agreements

Digital by Choice:

	Open Licence (Note: MSDN Subscription customers with Open Licence Agreements are eligible)
	Customers purchasing through the Microsoft ISV Royalty Programme
	Customers purchasing through the Services Provider Licence Agreement

Products NOT available for
electronic download:

A limited number of Microsoft products are NOT available for download from the Volume Licensing Service Centre site. Customers who require software updates to these products should not select the Digital by Choice option.
